Lately, trying to keep up on the world economic situations. These are some statistics found in the news...
Chinese exports fell 25 percent in February.
Four states -- California, South Carolina, Michigan and Rhode Island -- registered unemployment rates above 10 percent in January 2009.
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics says February unemployment checks in at 8.1 percent up from 7.6 in January.
It's difficult not to worry and be a little terrified. How is the economic recession effecting you? Are you spending less, and saving more? Have your company's structure changed (ie downsizing)? Are you feeling insecure and nervous? Or are you fortunate to be working in a company that had not been affected by the recession? Are you looking at your life differently, maybe finding joy in the simple things that life has to offer?
I hope things will get better for everyone, it's going to take time and perseverance.
I believe our economy will get back up. Economics is cyclical, therefore it's bound to get better again. The question I have is "How?"; how do we fix this? How can we change the economic situation?
